A Free Class for people who purchased their D40/D60 camera from Roberts ($25 if bought somewhere else). This class is an introduction to your camera's basic controls, menus, features and operation. You will also be given tips and recommendations to make your camera experience more enjoyable. Purchasers with little or no SLR or DSLR experience will get the most from this class. Photography & software are not covered in this session.
Class length is about 2.5 hours.

- Classes held @ Robert's downtown location: 255 S. Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN.
- Classes held in Carmel are @ the Hampton Inn: 12197 N. Meridian St. Located 150 ft. south of Carmel store. (Call downtown for class registration)
- Plan to arrive at class location at least 10 minutes before start time to check in. Instructors will not be able to restart program for late arrivals!
- Classes are free for up to 2 people for 6 months from camera purchase date.
- Classes are available w/o camera purchase for $25 per person and can be repeated at a later date for $10. Proof of camera or class purchase is required.
- It's best to spend some time becoming familiar with your camera prior to attending the class.
- Bring your camera w/memory card, instruction book and charged battery.
- Unless otherwise noted, free classes teach basic camera operation only. Classes do not teach photography or software/computer programs.
- The Compact Digital Camera Class covers the small digital cameras and is not brand or model specific. Basic operation, features, image viewing and transfer, along with accessories will be discussed.
- The Canon and Nikon classes only cover the models listed in the class title. All classes discuss basic operations, menus, settings and taking images. These basic classes are intended to be equipment primers and do not cover photographic techniques.
- Parking for downtown classes is available in the parking garage south of our store. Street parking is usually available free.
